During a 6-week series every Saturday morning in the heart of the West End, our charismatic host Omari Newton asks his guests to engage in conversations that range from the deeply personal to the mundane. And then the floor opens to audience opinions and involvement.
What’s a regular West End day? What makes a good neighbour? Where’s the best place to get pants hemmed? Denman St or Davie St? What are you most proud of? Is all this construction noise driving you bonkers? What brought you to this neighbourhood? Are you scared of the changes you see around you? Are just some of the questions that are asked during this stimulating weekly morning series.
The conversation starts off light with the hilarious Omari Newton facilitating, but quickly cuts straight to the heart of the matter – what defines a community and how can we sustain it when everything around us is changing?
