Created with acting students at Studio 58, this was R & J like you’ve never experienced it before. In this version of Shakespeare’s classic, the audience got up close and personal with the lovers and their entourage and were included in the action of one of the best-known stories of all time.
With the audience onstage and all around, this production featured an accomplished design team who created a stylish and atmospheric space where the visuals told the story as much as the words. This show was a re-visioning of contemporary love versus familial loyalty, and how that conflict is still alive and well today.
